Surprisingly, the next 2-week schedule has been released. (I picked it up yesterday.) Not so surprisingly, I work the late shifts again. I did get another Saturday I requested off (yay!) so I can go watch "Wicked" with my sister :D. Hopefully, they won't change that. :)

I think I de-friended the comms that I hadn't had any interest in (even when I had joined them, they were for friends in the comms rather than for the comm itself). In other words, NO I DID NOT DE-FRIEND YOU; individual people weren't de-friended *HUGS YOU ALL*. I was just trying to clean my lj, but I just eliminated maybe 3-5 comms. I still ( Read more... )

I am... officially a night owl. Not by choice. Next two week schedule are all late shifts PLUS three graveyard shifts (midnight to 8am). *grumble* On the plus side, I did get the Saturday I requested off (am going to the Aquarium with my sister *yay!*) although I work the Friday and the Sunday before and after. *sigh*

RLLast night's midnight/graveyard shift wasn't so bad. I did talk to one of my coworkers and she's trying to convince me to interview for one of the supervisor positions. Ok, I got my next two-week work schedule. ALL LATES. NO FAIR! Well, I suppose it's fair in the way that this is how seniority works and the ones with most seniority get the shifts they want and I end up with ones they DON'T want but still!

They really need to hire more people...

Well, today starts my stretch of late-night shifts this week. 2-10:30pm. GAH! And knowing that girl, I doubt I'll get to leave on time. *SIGH*

Mainly a work rant here. I was supposed to get off at 10:30pm last night. Guess what time I actually left? 11:40pm! Because the other girl called and said she'd be late and asked me if I could stay another hour. *GRUMBLE* and it's not like I could call the supervisor to come to work for one lousy hour. RLSubject is titled so because I start my five-day stretch of work today (Wednesday through Sunday), so today feels like "Monday" to me. The shift *GRUMBLE* is the 2:00pm-10:30pm shift; and the same goes for Thursday. Friday is a bit nicer with 11:00am-7:30pm, and Saturday with 8:00am-4:00pm, but Sunday is 12:00-8:30pm.
